Privacy Policy

BytesBench tools run in your browser. What you paste into a tool stays on your device.

What you put into a tool

Every BytesBench tool processes your input with code that runs in your browser. BytesBench does not upload, store, or log the text, files, tokens, certificates, or passwords you use in a tool, and sharing a tool shares only its address, never your data.

Some tools download reference data from bytesbench.com to work, such as the tokenizer vocabulary for the AI Token Counter. These downloads are the same for everyone and never include your input.

Tool pages have no ads or third-party scripts

Pages where you use a tool load only BytesBench's own code, fonts, and icons. They carry no advertising, analytics, or other third-party scripts, so nothing else running on the page can read what you type.

Advertising on the home page

The home page, and future guide pages that have no tools on them, show ads from Google AdSense.

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Hosting

BytesBench is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, and the address of the page requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies and storage

BytesBench's own code sets no cookies and does not save your input in your browser. Any advertising cookies come from Google on the pages described above.

Children

BytesBench is a set of general-purpose developer tools and is not directed at children under 13.
