    Add your JPG images

Drop them, choose them, or paste one. Several at once is fine.

  2. 02

  3. 03
    Download

See each file's size before and after, then save them one by one or as a .zip.

Why convert JPG to WebP?

  • Smaller pages: WebP photos are typically a quarter to a third smaller than JPG at similar quality.
  • Supported everywhere that matters: all current major browsers show WebP, including Safari since 2020.
  • One step: resize while converting to make large photos much smaller still.

Keep a JPG for email, printing, or older software that doesn't open WebP.

Frequently asked questions

Do all browsers show WebP?

All current major browsers do: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (since 2020). Some older apps and upload forms still don't.

What quality should I use?

75–85 is a good balance for photos. Compare the size shown for each result, and go higher if you see blurring.

Why isn't the WebP much smaller?

A JPG that's already heavily compressed has little left to save. Lower the quality or reduce the size for a bigger difference.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your browser decodes and converts the images itself. Nothing is sent to a server.
